2 weekends ago, we moved the majority of our stuff to the new house. Now we’re mostly unpacking and getting the animals settled.

Actually, plumbing the new house. I’ve been doing a lot of plumbing work @ the house. In fact, Saturday, I spent 12 hours running new pipes. Tomorrow, I rent a jack hammer to install a new drain in the utility room (house is on a slab, I need to cut into it).

Well, we were supposed close on the new house on the 24th of July. Then it was going to be on the 21st of August. Then it was supposed to be last night. Then this morning. Now it looks like we won’t be able to close until sometime later this month.

Well, last night we had the rehearsal. Things went pretty well. I’m a little jittery about today but mostly because I think I haven’t gotten squared away @ home for when we leave our honey moon.
All in all, though I’m pretty excited and anxious.

The RI LUG’s September meeting is topicless. It seems that what we’re going to do is a “tech-support” day for folks. Essentially, wer’re encouraging members to bring in their broken boxes or boxes about which the have questions/annoyances to see if we can help get their issues resolved. Well, the closing on the house is delayed yet again.
Now it seems that the Title V repairs will not be complete until the 18th, the earliest. So, I *might* be able to close the week before the wedding.

Or actually measuring. We’re going out to the new house to take some measurements. For example, I need how muvh room I have for a new fridge, and what size curtains to buy. Fun fun.
Maybe I’ll get som decent picture I can post here, too.

Ok, it looks like it’s only happenning when I’m running boinc / einstein@home.
I’m not entirely sure why it’s happenning, but at least I know I can “fix” it by stopping the boinc process.
