Like a dog
Actually, I think the expression is “Sick as a dog”, though it’s a funny expression. I don’t really know dogs to be very sickly creatures, and I’m not particularly fond of likening myself to dog, anyway. But however you look at it, I started coming down with something on Wednesday of last week. That something quickly evolved into a case of the hacking crud on Thursday. I left work early on Thursday, though I still had to work from home from 6pm to 9pm, and I took the day off Friday. I returned to work today, but am still pretty miserable. I’m fairly confident, though, that I’m not contagious. Anyway, That’s it, really.
