on the road
Well, I’ve been at Fresenius for 3 whole weeks, now, and today makes week 4. And already I’m on the road. I am blogging to you from Portsmouth, NH, using my trusty EVDO card, on my nifty company issued Dell D830 running Kubuntu. I worked from home and drove up here a couple hours ago. I’ll be here the remainder of the week for training on some advanced wifi topics for our wifi infrastructure. I’m actually pretty excited about the whole thing. The class should be interesting, and frankly, I like that the company is willing to pay for my training in only week 4 of employment. It’s a good sign. It’s also a good sign that they were willing to met me blow away windows on the company laptop and install a linux distro I like.
Anyway, my Chinese food just got here, so I’m gonna go eat and watch some Family Guy.
