Fed up with Kubuntu
Actually, w/ KDE4. I’m just sick of the instability it introduced into my laptop. I’ve had an old partition on my drive from when the laptop’s previous own was dual booting, which is currently going to waste, too. So, this weekend, I’m making another backup of my home directory, and moving it to another machine, and I think I’m going to completely re-image this machine w/ a fresh copy of the regular Gnome based Ubuntu. It’s just sickening, that now, post-upgrade, firefox crashes, the screen save crashes and locks up the machine, sometimes the even the system settings app crashes the X server, etc. None of this happened prior to the “upgrade”. So, hopefuly I’ll have better luck w/ Gnome.
